_Review Of Tinyshark , A great way to Stream music on a Android tablet or phone
Credit:www.download4a.com
_The
Tinyshark app let’s the user access the Grooveshark music library for
free. This app is great if you want to listen to music on your Honeycomb
Tablet or Phone, To use Tinyshark you must have Adobe Flash Player
installed on your device ( And Since Adobe is killing off mobile flash
this app may not work on new devices released in the future that won’t
support flash , So this app will eventually need to be updated to not be
so dependent on Flash). One thing this app lacks is the ability to
quickly fast forward to rewind the song your listening to. The interface
of the Tinyshark app isn’t that great either and should definitely see
some improvements. Tinyshark responds fast and (If on a decent Internet
connection) loads music quite quickly. When the app is playing music it
downloads and cashes the album art , this feature can be disabled in
Tinyshark’s settings. Once the user log’s into their Grooveshark account
you have the option to import playlists from your account , which can
be a handy feature to have , but you can’t import “my music” to
Tinyshark unless you add those songs to a playlist then import it to the
Tinyshark app. Tinyshark can be buggy at times , such as it will say
it’s disconnected from the network when in actuality it isn’t. when this
occurs your have to stop it’s process and start it again or try to
reconnect to the network through the settings (But most of the time this
doesn't work) . This bug is about the only one and when it occurs you
can’t search groovesharks library , your only able to listen to music in
the Queue or Playlist’s. Overall even with the app being buggy at times
Tinyshark is a great application to have and I recommend that you get
it off the Android Marketplace And is free to download off the
Marketplace.
Update:Tinyshark has been updated and a feature has been added that allows the user to downlaod a song and the conecting to the network issue has been resolved. Downloading a song currently crashes the app at this time.
